Solvent-free epoxy system suitable for the realization of resin coatings between 1 and 4 mm of thickness. It is suitable for industrial flooring subject to medium to heavy-duty traffic such as warehouses where fork lifts and AGV transit, stocking areas, supermarkets, closed parking areas. This system features good resistance to aggressive chemicals spillage, it is oil-proof, resistant to frequent cleaning, non-slip and it has a pleasant look. It can also be made transpiring, for those environments where there is no vapour barrier and some humidity can be found. Such coating can be applied to industrial flooring made of concrete, traditional screed coat or screed coat modified with polymer, controlled shrinkage screed, old cultured marble and ceramic flooring.

PROCESS DESCRIPTION:

1. Base preparation with sandblasting, scarifying or grinding machine (depending on the degree of degradation and type of flooring to coat).
2. Application of epoxy primer 2 components previously mixed with quartz and spheroidal quartz grains.
3. Levelling with epoxy resin 2 components with spheroidal quartz grains through hand spatula.
4. Levelling with epoxy resin 2 components in the colours contemplated in the RAL folder through hand spatula.
